§ 01Who we are
Two stonemasons, one in-house team, decades of trust.
Adrian and Marcus Walker are both time-served stonemasons. Over the years they have built lasting relationships with many of the leading conservation architects and surveyors, and an in-house team of masons, carpenters, leadworkers, lime plasterers and pointers.
We train apprentices, because the quality of the work depends on the people doing it. A trusted network of specialist subcontractors, built up over thirty years, fills in the rest.

Nenthead Chapel
We took over this Heritage Lottery funded project after the original main contractor went into administration six months in. We delivered it on programme and within budget, and turned a redundant Wesleyan chapel in the North Pennines into an arts and visitor centre.

I have had 26 years working in/on historically significant churches and have yet to find better collaborators than the Walker brothers and their team.
At the outset of the project Adrian Walker said that he wanted us to be happy with the finished job, that they would keep their promises and that we would not fall out. He was right on all the counts!
