Capesthorne Hall — Nursery Wing

Four great stone chimneys taken down, repaired and rebuilt, and the nursery wing roofs relaid in slate and lead.

Scope of works

1. Scaffold and a temporary roof erected over the nursery wing
2. Four large stone chimneys dismantled, repaired and rebuilt
3. Slate and lead roofs stripped, with timber repairs to the roof structure
4. New gutter bottoms formed
5. Lead gutters, valleys and bays reformed, and the roofs re-slated
