Liverpool Cathedral — West End Roof

A birdcage scaffold above the stone vaults of a working cathedral, for concrete repairs to the west end roof.

Scope of works

1. A birdcage scaffold erected in the west end roof void, above the stone-vaulted ceilings, while the cathedral stayed in use
2. Concrete repairs to the roof structure across bays 1 to 5
3. Anti-carbonation paint applied once the repairs were complete
