Adlington Hall — Great Hall

Lifting and relaying the Great Hall's stone slate roof, with new Code 8 lead gutters beneath.

Scope of works

1. Scaffold and a temporary roof erected over the Great Hall
2. Stone slates removed and the existing lead-lined timber gutters taken up
3. Repairs to structural timbers, with new timber gutters formed to correct falls and covered in Code 8 lead
4. The roof slopes re-slated using the existing stone slates
5. Brick replacement and repointing to the chimney stacks in hydraulic lime mortar
